Success!!

We got it. It's going to be a Merry Christmas around our house. If the munchkin could talk, this is what she would tell us she wanted most. And they're only being sold at Scholastic Book Fairs. Fortunately, our local library had one this weekend. I stormed the castle gates at 10 a.m. and got one of the three they had. WOOHOO!

Oh. I know! It's so exciting. And of course, she can talk. She talks all the time. She just hasn't mastered complete sentences yet. But if she could, she would say, "Mother, Father, please buy me one of those lovely, plush Wow Wow Wubbzy dolls for Christmas. If you would, I would be ever so grateful!"

This may be an ignorant question, but "what is it?" It looks like Crispy from the Crispy Critters cereal commercials. And why is it so short? Is it a baby whatever it is or are they a vertically challenged species, like the Smurfs? Just want to know more about what warms your little one's heart.

The crazy thing is, I don't really know what Wubbzy is. He's apparently young, whatever he is. At least, he's the least intelligent of the trio of characters. He's the one who's always making mistakes, covering things up, etc. Basically, he's the one giving the show an opportunity for kids to witness opportunities for social growth. I think it's a pretty great show. Not that I watch it...right?
