My parents came over for dinner tonight. We ordered chicken from Pizza Ranch and had mom's apple crumble with cinnamon ice cream for dessert. What a treat. One of the things I've missed most in the years since I left home is the baked goods! A big thanks to my brother and sister-in-law. I asked and received. They went to Barnes and Noble and got me a copy of the fall issue of Interweave Crochet. Once I finish the hubby's afghan I'll be trying this out. It's a pattern that I've been looking for for a long time. Now, I just have to choose a color and yarn.
